0. The Boring Part :
====================
Icon2Gadget should be treated as Public Domain. Anyone can copy the
program if and only if this is not done on commercial grounds. If ever
Icon2Gadget is published somewhere, I demand that this English document file
and the source file go along with it. It is allright to copy translations of
this document file too, if any are avalable, but this English version is the
original and should therefore always be distributed together with the program.
The same should be kept in mind for the sources.
Icon2Gadget is no shareware, but if you like the program I will not
protest if you'd send me some money. My name and address are below.
If anyone feels like changing the source into something he or she
thinks is better, feel free to do so. The only thing I always demand is that
you keep my name in the source and the runtime output, just as it is now. Oh...
If you realy make something wonderful out of it, why don't we share it? Better
versions are always welcome!
For those enhanced versions, for comments, complaints, questions and
money I now list my full address; Better not try to contact me on the phone,
because this is a postage address, rather than a living address.

1. The use of Icon2Gadget :
===========================
This program is an extension to the program Steal; It displays icons in
a Window AS A GADGET. This means that those icons can be picked up by Steal,
something that wasn't possible before.
Call Icon2Gadget with the (path)name of an icon as it's argument; No
other arguments are accepted. Leave the ".info"-part away from the filename, as
Icon2Gadget will append this to the filename itself.
Icon2Gadget will display a Window that has been sized to make the icon
fit into it. Click the Gadget to see what happens when the icon is active.
2. Bugs and warnings :
======================
Sorry, I cannot inform you of any of these. Hope you don't mind? I
guess you won't!
Have lots of fun in looking at icons,
Februari 7, 1991, Rick van Rein.
